200 Hr Yoga Alliance Option

 

In the past I have run private trainings out of my home, have flown to other cities to do this – or out of an arranged space. It is a completely different experience and far more personal than a group setting. Ideally it is you and a friend, otherwise one-on-one is incredibly powerful as well. It is an intense private education, convenient for prefer to not travel and would like to bring me – to you. For 21 days. We can work around your schedule and mine in advance. I don’t do this often but it is essentially a private training certifying you if teaching is your calling or for students who want an ass kicking of an experience.

 

ABOUT THE 200HR PROGRAM:
This course is designed for new and experienced students who are looking to immerse or teach yoga. It is a great option for those who want me to come to them and can’t travel abroad.

It is my mission to make this program one of best: with integrity, tradition and modernity in fusion with your personality and offerings. It is for those of you seeking to teach, or simply wanting to immerse in an intense experience for three weeks. We will spend 21 days in total, exploring the underbelly of what is yoga on all realms. This includes a three to four hour daily practice – power vinyasa based, pranayama, meditation, an overview of yoga history, philosophy, Sanskrit/mantras/chanting, practice teaching, posture clinics, anatomy, subtle anatomy and much more. There are three pre-requisite readings: Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Anatomy of the Spirit. Each book interweaves the above subjects and will teach you a new language surrounding the heart of yoga.

 

PRIVATE TRAINING TUITION:
$5500 CDN for the full course plus any travel or accommodation expenses.

THREE MODULES:

The course is broken up into three modules. All modules will begin with a morning session: Each module begins with a three to four hour practice of empowered asana, pranayama, mantra/chanting and meditation. The style of yoga is a powerful vinyasa pulsing between static and fluid asana (influences of Ashtanga, Anusara, Kundalini & Ana Forrest).  It is a challenging and fun practice with the inclusion of traditional practices, breath-work, mantra and cleansing kriyas. I am currently loving teaching activating breath-work to enhance energy in students and to dissipate stress: From lower quality thinking to high vibrational thoughts, from foggy intentions to clear ones, from anxiety to a state of calm – beginning with the body…then the mind.

First Module:
Assigned reading & discussion of: Bhagavad Gita, Jnana/Karma/Kriya Yoga, brief history of yoga, posture & beginner teaching clinics, intro to art of sequencing, whys of mantra/chanting/meditation 

Second Module: 
Assigned reading & discussion of: Light on the Yoga Sutras, Yamas/Niyamas/Kleshas/continued posture & teaching clinics, yoga anatomy and hands on therapeutics

Third Module:
Assigned reading & discussion of: Light on Yoga & Anatomy of the Spirit, subtle anatomy,chakras, nadis, vayus, koshas, continued posture & teaching clinics, final exam & practical exam for full-certification students.
